My first blog! How exciting :) I am a maker of doll clothing. I have been sewing for about 7 years and I love fabric! I am all about texture and color.....I love cotton and linen! I sew primarily for ball jointed dolls, but I have been known to sew for a few vinyl "babes" in the past..can you say "Barbie"? This is a dress I finished recently. I tea dyed the fabrics and also did the embroidery on the bodice. This doll is one of my favorites...her name is Beige, she is a Tuesday's Child doll made by Rosen Lied.
I also make hats for my dolls. I use straw and fabrics, but mainly straw. I hand dye many of them and also hand roll my rayon and silk roses, though I also love finding great vintage Japanese and German paper and fabric flowers! This hat is one of my favorites....more soon!
Oh wow :o) How lovely all your outfits are ..and you take so very gorgeous pictures . And I am a big lover of your corsets.
